The Big Skincare Mystery

Oooh mysterious green gloop!

That's right, I've been using this lime coloured, creamy cleanser without evening knowing the brand that's behind it.

The bottle arrived with only a small note that said it's specially formulated for problem prone and blemish skin and could be used as a facial wash twice a day or as a facemask up to 3 times a week.

I'm a big fan of the mask-come-wash products  - Neutrogena's Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash Mask is a firm favourite if I'm minding my pennies and have some breakouts. So, I was more than eager to see the results from this!

So far, the wash it great. I has no problem lifting away the day's makeup in the shower. No stinging or tightness (which is a big no-no for any blemish product!) and my skin felt clean and fresh. Smells lovely too.

Haven't popped it on as a mask yet - but will keep you posted. However, a picture of me wearing said green gloop will not be posted!

The big reveal is on March 1st - so stay tuned for more on the mystery brand!

But, if you would like to put it to the test  yourself, you can head over to The Big Skincare Mystery's Facebook page here!

Snow day...

I won't deny that I love a good snow day.

Just the sound alone of the fresh snow crunching under your feet is enough to get me wrapped up in several dozens of layers and heading out the to biggest patch of grass you can find.

Thermal pants - check.
Extra woolly socks - check.
Headbands and mittens - check.

We found Clapham Common like this on Sunday morning.

And this was our creation. So buff - an absolute inspiration for our exercise regime!

Well, this is new...

I've jumped on the blogging bandwagon, and boy, kudos to all those bloggers who managed to navigate their way around all the blogger mumbo-jumbo.

It has taken me a) forever and a day to actually motivate and work up the courage to start one and b) approximately 350 tries at getting the layout and privacy and gadgets and backgrounds that I wanted. And I'm still not best pleased with how it looks, but hey, it's a work in process!

So, as the name suggests, I'm hoping you have a cuppa in one hand and are balancing your laptop on your knee reading this on the sofa. Because that is how I'll be writing it.

Please stay tuned, it can only get more interesting!
